Tatonka 2001-2015

Our beloved Tonky died.
She deteriorated very, very quickly.
We had a difficult time saying goodbye to her.

Sean and I have had her since the day after we got back from our honeymoon. She's been such a good dog. Tonky was the most well behaved dog I've ever known, She was extremely loved.

Fun For All

The past few days everyone in our house went in different direction's to have fun!

Sean, Dallin and Trew went to Boston.

They went on a duck boat tour!

Went to the aquarium.

And to Fenway!

They had a blast!

(Sean had an extra ticket so Duke met up with them to watch the game!)

Alanna had Main-e-acts team camp on an island off of Portland!

She had the time of her life!

And Embree, Ledger and I stayed home.
No! We went and did some fun things too!

Mini golfing.

And went to dinner and ate lobster!

The kids had fun jumping with Uncle Robbie.

The boys had fun playing Tsum Tsum's!

And Ledger found a very relaxing spot to lay back!

Braithwaite's Visit!

The Braithwaite's came up to visit a few days after Cassie returned
home from her mission!

We couldn't love that family more!!

Megan was working at Jimmy's that evening so we went over there to see her and get ice cream.
Ledger was so excited to see Megan, he didn't know what to think! He just wanted her!

After we went and hung our WAY too late at the Hymas'.
Ledger fell asleep with the help of a soft blanket to substitute his that was home in his crib!

The next day we went to church then had everyone over for a big bbq!
We had such a great time!

93

Sean's Nana, Hazel Thomas passed away on July 25th at age 93. After the blessing of her grave Sean walked our kids out to a field right behind the cemetery and bore a beautiful testimony. His grandparents were some of the first to join our church way back when. And it they were living in the farm house right behind this field when two missionaries knocked on their door. (Elders Truman Madsen and Andrew Kimball)

Summer Fun.

July was packed full of fun!

One of Sean's mission companions who is from Mexico but now lives in Canada stopped by for a visit while he and his wife were vacation in Maine!  It was really fun for Sean and it made me happy to see Sean happy.  He loved his mission, really like no one I've ever known.  This year marks the 15th anniversary of when he came home from his mission.  They had a great time swapping mission stories!

I picked and made 7 batches (almost 30 pints) of  strawberry jam!
The kids and I found a hidden Mickey!

Tonk's favoite spot to sleep is right in front of the sliding glass doors to the back deck.  I had to take a picture of her with her snout up on the railing sound asleep!

The boys think they are hilarious!

We got a trampoline!

Embree had an activity day girls pool party at some ward friends home.  Ledge and I went (and had a great time) with her.  Ledger got to hold their new kitten!

Alanna got asked to be a Main-E-Act again this year!
(competitive travel baton twirling team)
That blasted envelop is FILLED with glitter which her coach kindly warns about.

The kids love Tsum Tsum's!  I had bought each kid one to give to them on our Disney trip but forgot them at home.  So I came up with a project they could do to earn a 'surprise'!  They were super excited and promptly stacked them for pictures!

Not so much fun but wanted to document some summer battle scar's!

Embree fell while doing the above service project and cut up her poor lil noggin!

And who know's how Trew got a huge bump/bruise on his forhead, I can't keep up!

Disney World for Two!

In March I surprised Sean by buying us ticket's to fly down to Florida in July by ourselves for a few days!  Having something to look forward too gives helps us both get through tax season!

The first of many selfie's!

We traded in our old van for a shiny, fast, hip car!
After stopping at the FL house we headed to our first dinner reservation.
The California Grill-on top of the Contemporary hotel, a first for us.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do a flattering selfie.
(on the observation deck)

Magic in the back ground.

Our dinner was DELICIOUS!
It was so exciting to be alone. Together. At Disney World.

We walked over to Magic Kingdom after dinner.

We played for a while then headed back over to the Contemporary to watch the fireworks on the observation deck.

I was gorgeous out! Wishes was played on speakers!

Random note: Doug Flutie's daughter's wedding reception was going on on the top floor of the Contemporary, they all came out to watch Wishes.

After Wishes we went back to Magic.

The next day we went to Hollywood Studios.

We ate at one of Sean's favorites The 50's Prime Time Cafe.

We were seated right next to a couple. And I mean RIGHT next to them. We all started laughing!  They were probably my age and they were on their honeymoon, I think they were from Arkansas.  They were very nice and very funny! They ordered dessert not long after we sat down, when it came the lady was surprised at how big her dessert was and told us she was going to split it in half so we could eat the other half. We talked, ate and had a lot of fun.  When they got up to leave the lady insisted we eat the cake she saved for us. As soon as they left the room I grabbed it, Sean was horrified and insisted I not eat it.  But it was chocolate peanut butter cake!  He kept saying "I can't believe your doing this!" as he took these pictures! It was divine

Us on Toy Story Mania!

Last minute we decided to run into the Frozen Sing Along-which we have seen. I'm so glad we did because we laughed SO hard! Not only is the show hilarious but the big tatted up guy next to me was belting the songs out with his two little girls! One of the many reason's why we love Disney!

Sean took a picture of Bill Cosby's bust missing from the pedestal.
Another reason why we love Disney.

Animal Kingdom was scorching the next day!
We had such great weather!

Baby giraffe's!
After playing there for a while we headed over to Hollywood.

We took our kids traditional picture on the sidewalk in Hollywood Studios.

We ate dinner in Downtown Disney and shopped. Me for sandals. Sean for shaving stuff.

We went to Magic Kingdom after spending the morning at the temple.

We've only gone to Tom Sawyers Island a few times but we ventured over and relaxed in rocking chairs with some drinks.

Dumbo!

And The Hall of Presidents
. Which I'd only seen once before when I was pregnant with Alanna.

We spent our last day at Epcot.

We had SUCH a great time! I wanna do it again. And again. Sean is my absolute best friend and I adore spending time with him. It's so nice to have a break from our kids and do Disney completely by ourselves! (We have gone with two different nursing babies, Trew and Ledger)

The first day we left Kym sent us pictures of our little boys having fun at her house.

So cute!

Many thanks to everyone who helped watch our kids!  Alanna and Dallin went to Sean's parents.  Embree went to Betsy's and Trew and Ledger went to Amy's after spending the first day with Kym!
